This summer, a new legend joins the pantheon of great adventurers and trailblazers. Through a perilous journey that will captivate and inspire the hearts of Americans all across the country, one man is set to make his mark on history. This is The Scooter Crossing.

The Scooter Crossing is a 4000-mile epic, directly across the heartland of the United States, on a low power electric scooter. The vehicle of choice? The Segway Ninebot Max. This beautiful machine is top of the line, a masterpiece of engineering, but will it have what it takes to survive everything our country throws at it? In an epic challenge of man vs machine vs nature, a crew of three steadfast gentlemen will attempt to go from Yorktown, Virginia to Florence Oregon, at top speed of 18.6 MPH. Many say it can’t be done, many doubt that an electric scooter will have what it takes, but this summer we set out to find out.
